Decorating a Living Room with Sofas and Chairs

Designing Your Living Space

Create a cozy living room by combining sofas, chairs, and tables. The mod offers various seating options in multiple wood types, allowing flexible design choices.

Step-by-Step Decoration

1. Establish the focal point: Decide where your main seating area will be—often facing a wall or window.

2. Place your sofa: Position a sofa (or multiple sofas) as the centerpiece. Sofas typically span multiple blocks.

3. Add accent chairs: Place individual chairs around the sofa to create conversation areas.

4. Include tables: Add coffee tables or side tables in front of or beside seating for a lived-in feel.

5. Layer with stools: Use stools as additional seating or footrests.

6. Combine with vanilla blocks: Add bookshelves, paintings, or item frames on walls to complete the room.

Arrangement Ideas

• Arrange sofas in an L-shape or U-shape for multiple seating options.
• Mix wood types between sofa and chairs for visual contrast.
• Leave adequate space for movement between furniture pieces.
• Use rugs (carpet or wool) to define the seating area and add color.
