Placing Sign Poles

Start by crafting or obtaining sign poles from the mod. Place them vertically along your road where you want traffic information displayed. Poles can be positioned at intersections, highway exits, or along stretches of road that need directional guidance.

Attaching Signs to Poles

Once your pole is in place, select a traffic sign block from your inventory. Right-click on the pole to attach the sign. The sign will mount securely to the pole structure. You can attach multiple signs to a single pole by clicking different mounting points.

Customizing Sign Content

Right-click the mounted sign to open its interface. Here you can add text for destinations, exit numbers, or warnings. Many signs also support icons—select from available road symbols to indicate turn directions, lane restrictions, or hazard warnings. Experiment with different sign types to match real highway conventions.

Positioning Multiple Signs

For overhead gantries spanning multiple lanes, place poles on either side of your road and mount large directional signs between them. This creates the appearance of authentic highway signage guiding traffic flow.
