Create a City Intersection with Proper Signage
Positioning Corner Signs
At each corner of your intersection, place sign poles. These will hold street name signs, directional indicators, and traffic regulation symbols. Position poles at consistent heights for a professional appearance.
Adding Street Name and Direction Signs
Mount blue or green informational signs on corner poles displaying street names and cardinal directions. Use the sign interface to label intersecting roads clearly. This helps players navigate your city.
Installing Regulatory Signs
Add circular and triangular regulatory signs indicating traffic rules: one-way directions, no-entry zones, speed limits, or turn restrictions. Place these at appropriate corners so they're visible to approaching traffic.
Ground Markings and Lane Arrows
Paint directional arrows on the road surface showing turn lanes and through traffic paths. Use white arrows for standard markings and add restriction lines to separate traffic flows. Mark crosswalks or pedestrian zones with appropriate symbols.
Overhead Coordination
For larger intersections, consider adding overhead gantry signs with directional information. This creates visual hierarchy and helps players understand complex traffic patterns at a glance.
