Managing Experience Costs When Uncrafting
Understanding Experience Drain
Each uncraft operation costs player levels. The cost depends on the item's materials and complexity. More valuable or complex items cost more levels to disassemble.
Strategies to Preserve Levels
- Uncraft selectively: Only uncraft items you truly need to recycle. Don't uncraft everything automatically
- Prioritize low-cost items: Start with simple items like wooden tools or basic blocks to minimize level loss
- Plan ahead: Before mass-uncrafting, consider whether the recovered resources justify the experience cost
- Use XP farms: If you're uncrafting frequently, set up an experience farm to replenish levels quickly
Checking Costs
Before confirming an uncraft, the GUI displays the exact level cost and output. Review this information carefully—you cannot undo the transaction once confirmed. If the cost seems too high, remove the item and try something else.
