How to Move or Remove a Teleporter Without Losing Materials

Breaking a Teleporter Safely

A Teleporter that already contains an Ender Core stores that core inside the block. When you break the Teleporter with the correct tool, the block and its stored core are returned to you, so you can relocate the whole setup. Use a pickaxe appropriate to the block's material so it drops rather than disappearing. If you break it with the wrong tool or in a way that destroys the drop, you may lose the block and the core inside it.

Reinstalling at the New Spot

Place the Teleporter block at its new location and reinsert the Ender Core by right-clicking with it. Then reopen the interface and set its destination again. Because the block was moved, its old link may no longer be valid, so always re-check the destination list and reselect the target Teleporter. Do the same on the other end if the link needs to point back.

Cleaning Up a Network

If you are dismantling a network entirely, break each Teleporter and collect the cores. Reuse those cores on new Teleporters instead of crafting fresh ones. Before removing a block, make sure no other Teleporter is still pointing at it, or those links will fail. Update or remove the destinations on the remaining Teleporters so your network stays consistent and you do not waste cores on dead connections.
