How to Replace the Minecraft Logo on the Main Menu

Preparing a Logo Image

Simple Menu Mod lets you swap the default Minecraft logo for your own. The logo sits on a transparent background in vanilla, so a PNG with transparency will blend cleanly into the menu. If you use a JPG, you will get an ugly solid box behind your logo. Size your image so it is not absurdly large; a logo roughly the width of the vanilla one looks natural.

Applying the Logo

1. Open the mod's configuration, either through the in-game config button or the config file.

2. Locate the logo option and set it to the path of your image file.

3. Save, then reload the main menu. If nothing changes, restart the game.

Tips for a Clean Result

  • Keep the logo centered in the canvas so it lines up with the menu buttons.
  • If your logo overlaps the splash text area, consider hiding splash texts separately.
  • Test at different window sizes; a logo that looks fine fullscreen may clip in a small window. Adjust the image dimensions rather than fighting the config.
