Mine a 3×3 Area Efficiently

Using 3×3 Mining Mode

Hammers automatically break blocks in a 3×3 area when you left-click. This is perfect for strip mining, clearing large spaces, or harvesting ore veins quickly.

Steps:

1. Equip your hammer in your main hand

2. Look at the block you want to mine

3. Left-click to break the center block and all 8 surrounding blocks at once

4. The hammer will consume durability for each block broken

Maximizing Efficiency

Use 3×3 mode for repetitive tasks like:

• Clearing dirt and stone for building foundations
• Mining ore deposits that span multiple blocks
• Excavating tunnels and corridors
• Harvesting sand, gravel, or dirt quickly

Be aware that breaking 9 blocks at once uses durability faster than a pickaxe breaking single blocks. Plan your mining routes to avoid unnecessary waste on air pockets or already-mined areas.
