Understanding Silent Lib and Why You Have It Installed

What is Silent Lib?

Silent Lib is a library mod—a collection of shared code and tools that other mods depend on to function. You don't interact with it directly in-game. Instead, it sits in the background, providing common features to mods that need them.

Why is it in my mods folder?

If Silent Lib is installed, another mod you have requires it. Mods built by SilentChaos512 (such as Gems & Crystals, Mystical World, or similar projects) use Silent Lib's shared utilities to reduce file size and make updates easier.

Do I need to do anything?

No. Once installed, Silent Lib works automatically. You won't see new blocks, items, or mechanics in your world. Simply keep it in your mods folder alongside the mods that depend on it.

What if I remove it?

If you delete Silent Lib, any mod that requires it will fail to load. Your game will either crash on startup or those dependent mods will be disabled. Always keep it installed if other mods need it.
