How to Set Your Respawn Point at a Campfire

Finding or Building a Campfire

Campfires serve as mobile respawn points, letting you set where you'll return if you die during a hunt.

Setting Your Respawn Point

1. Locate or craft a campfire in your desired location

2. Right-click the campfire

3. Your respawn point is now set to that campfire's location

Using Your Respawn Point

When you die, you'll respawn at the last campfire you activated instead of your world spawn point. This is crucial for monster hunting expeditions far from your base.

Strategic Tips

Place campfires at key locations along your hunting routes—near monster lairs, in villages, or at safe camps. You can set multiple campfires throughout your world, but only the most recently activated one will be your respawn point. Remember to right-click a new campfire before heading into dangerous territory. This mechanic eliminates long walks back to your death location and keeps your focus on the hunt.
