Master Ballista Aiming for Precision Shots

Enter Ballista Aiming Mode

Right-Click on a placed ballista to enter its special aiming mode. Unlike catapults, ballistae fire in straight lines rather than arcs, making them ideal for precise, long-range strikes. The aiming interface will display your targeting reticle.

Fine-Tune Your Aim

Use your mouse or movement keys to adjust where the ballista is pointing. Ballistae are excellent for hitting specific targets like enemy players or key structures because they don't have the curved trajectory of catapults. Take your time to line up your shot—the ballista's accuracy rewards careful aiming.

Fire and Reload

Once your target is in the crosshairs, confirm your shot (mechanics vary, but typically Space or Right-Click again). The ballista will fire a fast arrow that travels in a straight line.

Ballistae are best used from elevated positions or fortified locations where you can maintain a clear line of sight to your targets.
