Silencing Chat Spam and Interruptions in Shuttfup Mod
On busy servers or in modded worlds, chat can fill with join messages, death messages, and automated spam. Shuttfup Mod lets you cut that noise so you only see what matters.
Reducing Chat Spam
Open the Shuttfup configuration and locate the chat-related options. The mod provides toggles for suppressing chat spam and reducing interruptions. Enable the spam suppression option to filter out repetitive automated messages while leaving player chat intact where possible.
If you want a completely quiet chat, you can also hide the chat display through the UI clutter options, though this hides everything including messages from friends. A middle ground is to keep chat visible but suppress the spam category only.
Cutting Interruptions
Interruptions include pop-ups and messages that pause or distract you during play. Combine the chat spam toggle with the notification toggles so that advancement pop-ups, toasts, and narrator messages are also silenced. Together these give a near-silent experience.
After changing settings, trigger a few chat events on your server to verify the filter is working. If important messages are being hidden, dial back the suppression level until you find a balance that keeps useful chat and drops the rest.
