Reducing UI Clutter and Boosting FPS with Shuttfup Mod

If your frame rate dips in busy areas or your screen feels crowded with overlays, Shuttfup Mod offers several toggles aimed at trimming visual noise and improving performance.

Toggling Particles and Block Animations

Open the Shuttfup config and look for the particle effects and block animations options. Disabling particle effects removes things like ambient particles, which can be a large source of frame drops in crowded or decorated builds. Disabling block animations stops animated textures on blocks from updating every frame, which helps most in storage rooms and farms with many animated blocks.

These are visual-only changes. They do not affect gameplay logic, redstone, or mob behavior, so you can safely turn them off in survival.

Streamlining the UI

Use the UI clutter reduction option to hide or simplify non-essential interface elements. This is useful when recording or when you simply want a cleaner view. Combine it with the notification toggles to remove pop-ups at the same time.

If performance is still poor, re-enable one option at a time to find which toggle gave you the biggest gain. Different setups benefit from different combinations, so test in the area where you noticed lag.
