Choosing and Fortifying a Location
Pick a base site away from open plains where Titans spawn and roam freely. A hilltop, island, or walled compound gives you natural defense. Build tall walls with a lip or overhang so Titans cannot simply climb or reach over, and keep the interior clear of clutter so you can use ODM gear inside the walls if needed.
Defensive Layout Tips
- Ring the base with high walls and add watchtowers at the corners. Towers double as ODM grapple anchors.
- Keep a stocked chest near the wall with spare blades, gas canisters, and ODM gear so you can resupply mid-fight.
- Leave a narrow, controlled entrance rather than wide gaps. Titans funnel through predictable paths.
- Light the perimeter so you can see approaching Titans at night.
Responding to an Attack
When Titans reach your walls, do not fight from the ground. Clear attackers one at a time, retreating to the wall between kills. Repair any breaches immediately — a single hole lets Titans pour in and your base becomes indefensible.
