How to Kill Titans and Hit the Nape Reliably

Understanding Titan Weak Points

Titans in Shingeki No Craft only take meaningful damage at the nape — the back of the neck. Slashing limbs or the face wastes blade durability and often gets you grabbed. Your goal every engagement is to get behind and above a Titan, then strike the nape in one committed pass.

A Repeatable Attack Pattern

1. Approach from behind using ODM gear. Never charge a Titan head-on; they will grab or swat you.

2. Grapple a tall structure or the Titan's own back if the mod allows it, then boost upward so you are above shoulder height.

3. Dive toward the nape with gas boost, and swing your blade as you pass. A clean hit kills or heavily damages the Titan.

4. Immediately fire a grapple at a building or tree to escape before other Titans react.

If a Titan grabs you, mash the escape/attack key to break free — you have a short window. Carry spare blades and gas; a fight with a group of Titans drains both fast. Retreat and resupply rather than fighting empty.
