How to Combine the Serified Font Pack With Other Resource Packs
The Serified Font Resource Pack only touches font textures, so it stacks cleanly on top of almost any other pack — but the load order matters if another pack also replaces fonts.
Set the Load Order
Open Options → Resource Packs. The pack listed at the top of the Selected column wins for any file both packs contain. Drag Serified Font above your terrain, GUI, or shader-support packs so its font glyphs take priority. If you instead want another pack's font, drag that pack above Serified Font.
Watch for Conflicting Font Packs
Only one pack's font can render at a time. If you have two font packs selected, the higher one wins and the lower one's font is silently ignored — it is not blended. Remove or disable the redundant one to avoid confusion when you later reorder things.
Verify the Change Took Effect
After applying, open the chat or press T and type a line with both uppercase and lowercase letters. Serif packs show clear thick-thin stroke contrast and small foot serifs on letters like I, l, and T. If you still see the plain vanilla blocky font, the pack is either below another font pack or not actually enabled — check the arrow between the Available and Selected columns.
Keep It Applied Across Profiles
Resource pack selection is stored per game instance, not per world, so once it is set it applies to every world you load with that instance. If you use multiple launcher profiles, set the order again in each one.
