Breed Rare Flower Colors Through Cross-Pollination
Setting Up Your Breeding Garden
Find or collect two or three flowers of compatible types and place them directly adjacent to each other in dirt blocks. The flowers don't need to be the same color—different shades of the same species work well for breeding.
Waiting for New Variants
Leave the flowers undisturbed. Over time, cross-pollination will occur naturally, and new color variants will grow in the dirt blocks surrounding your planted flowers. Check back periodically to see what new shades have appeared.
Collecting Your Results
Harvest the new flowers that spawn nearby and replant them with other variants to continue breeding. By experimenting with different color combinations and placements, you can discover rare hybrid flowers that don't spawn naturally in the world.
Tips for Success
Plant flowers in open areas with plenty of empty dirt nearby—this gives the new variants room to grow. Keep detailed notes of which color combinations produce which results, so you can reliably breed specific rare plants later.
