Create and Control a Named Mob
Summoning Your First Mob
Named mobs are easier to command and track than unnamed ones. Use the summon command to create a mob with a visible nameplate:
`
/playermob summon <name> named
`
Replace <name> with any identifier you want—for example, /playermob summon Guard named creates a mob called Guard. The nameplate floats above the mob so you can identify it from a distance.
Issuing Commands
Once named, direct your mob using:
`
/playermob order <name> <action>
`
Available actions include:
- walk — Move the mob to your current location or a nearby point
- punch — Strike a block or entity
- attack — Engage a specific mob or player in combat
- gift — Hand you an item from their inventory
- greet — Perform a friendly crouch gesture
- steal — Loot nearby chests, barrels, or armor stands
- use — Interact with blocks like doors or levers
- place — Set down blocks from their inventory
Mobs retain their personality traits during these actions—aggressive mobs fight harder, while shy mobs hesitate before obeying dangerous orders.
