Before Taking Candies
Since pink candies explode violently, prepare your environment:
1. Take candies in an open area far from your base and valuables
2. Clear the surrounding space of important blocks or structures
3. Wear protective armor and carry healing items
4. Consider building a small isolated chamber specifically for risky candy draws
During the Explosion
If you draw pink, the explosion will:
- Deal damage to you directly
- Destroy blocks in a radius around your position
- Create a crater or clearing
The damage is substantial, so have food or healing potions ready to survive.
Recovery Strategy
- Keep your valuable items in a secure chest away from the candy-testing area
- Use the explosion zone as a quarry or mining area afterward
- If you die from the explosion, you'll respawn and the bowl counter resets
- Mark dangerous candy locations with signs so you remember where explosions occurred
Tip: Some players intentionally use pink candies as a controlled demolition tool for clearing terrain, turning a dangerous mechanic into a feature.
