Survive the Skull's Proximity and Avoid Instant Death

Stay at Safe Distance

The Wendigo Skull is lethal on contact. Your primary goal is to never touch it directly—doing so instantly kills you and spawns the full Wendigo creature.

Keep at least 8 blocks away from the skull at all times. Beyond this range, you're safe from its aura effects.

Manage Proximity Damage

If you must approach closer (for observation or strategy), be aware of the danger zone:

• Within 8 blocks: You'll experience hunger buildup, health damage, and loss of arm control
• Retreat immediately if these effects trigger
• Arm control loss makes combat and tool use impossible

Escape Strategy

If you accidentally enter the danger zone:

1. Sprint away perpendicular to the skull's position

2. Don't attempt to fight back—your arms won't respond

3. Put solid blocks between yourself and the skull if possible

4. Head toward populated areas (villages) or your base for safety

The skull will attempt to move away if damaged, so it won't always pursue aggressively. Use this to your advantage by creating distance and letting it flee.
