Use Raw Beef as a Calming Tool

Once the Wendigo monster spawns, you can temporarily reduce its threat level by feeding it raw beef. This is your safest damage-mitigation strategy.

Throw raw beef near the creature to trigger feeding behavior. After eating, the Wendigo becomes:

• Significantly slower
• Weaker in combat
• Less aggressive overall
• Delayed in its next attack

Timing Your Feed

Use feeding windows strategically:

1. Feed the Wendigo when it's actively hunting you or nearby villagers

2. The calming effect is temporary—plan your next move during this window

3. Retreat to safety, gather resources, or prepare defenses while it's docile

4. Multiple feedings can buy you extended time

Resource Management

Raw beef is your most valuable resource for survival. Gather it from:

• Killed cows
• Loot from other mobs
• Your own livestock farms

Keep a supply on hand whenever the Wendigo is active in your world. This approach is far safer than attempting direct combat.
