How to Safely Contain SCP-012
Preventing Accidental Exposure
SCP-012 is extremely dangerous and must remain sealed at all times. The sheet music itself causes continuous bleeding damage, making it lethal to carry.
Keeping the
Iron Box Closed
1. Never break the Iron Box unless you have a specific reason to retrieve the sheet
2. Use redstone signals to keep the box sealed remotely—this prevents accidental opening
3. Position the box in a dedicated containment chamber away from your base
4. Consider building a barrier around the containment area to prevent mobs from triggering it
If You Must Open It
If you need to open the Iron Box, do so only in a controlled environment:
- Clear all nearby entities from a wide radius
- Wear protective gear (though this won't stop the bleeding effect)
- Open the box briefly, then close it immediately using redstone
- Never allow the box to remain open unattended
Emergency Protocol
If SCP-012 is released and you're bleeding, move away from the box immediately. The bleeding effect will persist as long as the sheet is nearby or in your inventory. Distance is your only defense.
