How to Handle the Bleeding Effect

Understanding the Threat

The Bleeding effect is SCP-012's most dangerous property. It deals severe damage rapidly and comes with disturbing visual and audio effects that intensify the danger.

Immediate Response

If you become infected with Bleeding:

1. Move away from SCP-012 and the Iron Box immediately

2. Do not attempt to close the box while bleeding—you physically cannot

3. Create distance between yourself and the anomaly

4. Seek shelter or use healing items if available

Prevention Strategies

• Never carry SCP-012 in your inventory
• Keep the Iron Box sealed with redstone signals
• Maintain a safe distance (more than 3 blocks) from an open box
• Warn other players about the dangers of the containment area
• Do not open the box near villages or populated areas

Long-Term Safety

The Bleeding effect is persistent and extremely damaging—dealing 2 hearts of damage every second. There is no cure except distance and time. Always treat SCP-012 as an active biohazard that requires strict containment protocols.
