Customizing Scoreboard Colors for Header, Body, and Scores

The vanilla scoreboard uses a single flat color scheme. This mod splits it into three parts you can color independently, which helps the sidebar stand out against bright skies, nether fog, or dark caves.

The Three Color Options

In the config you will find separate color entries for the header (the title line at the top), the body (the player or objective names), and the scores (the numbers on the right). Each accepts a color value, typically in hex or RGB form depending on the config format. Set each one to whatever suits your setup.

Picking Readable Colors

Contrast matters more than style. If your body text is light, keep the background dark enough to read it, and vice versa. A common approach is a bold header color, a neutral body color, and a slightly dimmer score color so the numbers do not compete with names. Avoid using the same color for all three, since that defeats the purpose of the split.

Applying and Testing

Save the config and return to a world with an active scoreboard. If a color does not seem to apply, confirm you edited the correct field and that no other resource pack is overriding sidebar rendering. Test in different biomes and lighting to make sure the colors stay legible everywhere.
