How to Trigger Enemy Waves Using a Player Flare

Summoning Multiple Enemy Waves

Player flares are a key tool for spawning controlled enemy encounters. Use them to challenge yourself or farm specific faction units.

Steps:

1. Craft or obtain a player flare from your inventory

2. Equip the flare and find an open area away from your base

3. Activate the flare (right-click or use as directed)

4. Multiple waves of enemies from nearby factions will begin spawning

5. Waves continue until you defeat enough enemies or the flare effect expires

Strategic Flare Usage

Use flares to:

• Test new weapons against live enemies
• Farm loot and resources from defeated units
• Practice combat against specific factions (RRC, Whaler, FAC, Asgharians)
• Trigger boss spawns by using flares in their territory

Be prepared with ammunition and healing items before activating a flare, as you'll face sustained pressure from multiple enemy types.
