Grow Custom Trees Using New Seeds

Obtaining Tree Seeds

The mod adds seeds for oak, spruce, birch, jungle, acacia, dark oak, and cherry trees. Unlike vanilla saplings, these seeds don't drop naturally from leaves. They're designed for map makers but can be obtained through creative mode or commands in survival worlds.

Planting and Growing Trees

1. Prepare the ground — Clear an area with grass or dirt blocks. Ensure adequate space for the tree to grow (at least 5×5 blocks for most trees).

2. Plant the seed — Right-click on grass or dirt with the tree seed in hand.

3. Use bone meal — Apply bone meal to the young seedling to accelerate growth. Multiple applications may be needed for larger trees.

4.

Tree Characteristics

Custom trees grow larger and with thicker trunks than vanilla trees. Different tree types produce varying wood amounts and shapes, making them useful for both aesthetics and resource gathering.

Harvesting

Once fully grown, harvest wood normally. The custom trees provide more wood per tree, rewarding careful planning and patience.
