Reaching the End Portal in an Undamaged Stronghold

Why an intact stronghold helps

The biggest frustration with broken strongholds is a portal room sealed off by terrain or a corridor that dead-ends into a ravine. Save My Stronghold keeps the layout whole, so your route to the End Portal room stays open and navigable.

Getting to the portal

1. Gather Eyes of Ender to both locate the stronghold and activate the portal frame. You will need enough to fill every frame slot in the portal room.

2. Follow the Eyes of Ender to the stronghold entrance, then head downward through the corridors. In a protected stronghold, staircases and hallways should connect cleanly.

3. Look for the End Portal room, typically marked by a raised frame of portal blocks surrounded by lava and silverfish spawners. Clear any silverfish before placing eyes.

4. Right-click each empty frame slot with an Eye of Ender until all slots are filled. The portal activates and you can jump in.

5. If a passage seems blocked, check whether that section generated before the mod was installed. Otherwise, the mod should have kept the route clear.

With the stronghold intact, reaching and activating the End Portal becomes a straightforward run rather than a search through rubble.
