Troubleshooting Missing or Incorrect Textures
Identify Texture Problems
If blocks, items, or UI elements appear purple-and-black checkered, or show default textures instead of Sapixcraft's cartoon style, the pack isn't loading correctly.
Fix Loading Issues
1. Verify pack activation: Open resource packs menu and confirm Sapixcraft is in the active list, not the available list.
2. Check load order: If using multiple packs, Sapixcraft should be positioned above any conflicting packs in the active list.
3. Reload the pack: Remove Sapixcraft from active packs, restart Minecraft, then re-add it.
4. Clear cache: Delete the shadercache folder in .minecraft and restart.
Resolve Compatibility Conflicts
- Mod conflicts: Some mods add custom blocks that Sapixcraft doesn't texture. This is normal—only mod-supported blocks will have custom textures.
- Version mismatch: Ensure your Sapixcraft version matches your Minecraft version.
- Corrupted files: Re-download the pack if textures remain broken after reloading.
Test Specific Elements
Load a creative world and spawn various blocks to confirm which textures work. Document any persistent issues for troubleshooting.
