Managing Sickness and Visiting Plague Doctors

How Sickness Spreads

The mod introduces illness mechanics that can affect your character through interactions with villagers or environmental exposure in towns. When sick, you'll experience debuffs that impact your abilities and interactions with NPCs. Sickness can spread if you're not careful, potentially affecting entire settlements.

Curing Illness

You have three main options: drink milk to cure yourself immediately, consume honey for a slower recovery, or visit a plague doctor NPC in a settlement. Plague doctors wear distinctive robes and can be found in or near cathedrals and towns. Interact with them to receive treatment. Keep milk or honey in your inventory as emergency remedies during exploration.

Prevention

Avoid prolonged contact with sick villagers. If a settlement shows signs of illness spreading, consider visiting a plague doctor preemptively. Maintain supplies of milk and honey while traveling through populated areas to stay prepared for unexpected sickness.
