How to Set Up a Rustic Delight Kitchen and Storage System

Choosing a Cooking Station

Rustic Delight recipes use vanilla stations — furnace, crafting table, and possibly a campfire — plus the mod's own intermediates like Batter. Before cooking, place a crafting table, furnace, and a chest within a few blocks of each other. Add a water source and a cauldron if recipes call for liquids.

Organizing Ingredients

Split your storage by category: raw crops (Bell Peppers, Coffee Beans, Cotton), intermediates (Batter, Roasted Coffee Beans, Slices), and finished dishes (Rolls, Soups, Pancakes, Cheesecakes). Use the mod's Crate blocks — Black Bell Pepper Crate, Blue Bell Pepper Crate, Calamari Crate — as themed storage that doubles as decoration. Label chests with signs so you can grab ingredients fast.

Batch Cooking Tips

Cook in batches: make a full stack of Batter, roast all your coffee beans at once, and slice peppers in bulk. This reduces trips between stations. Keep a bowl stack near your soup area since soups return bowls. Finally, check the configuration section if you want to tweak crop growth or recipe behavior for your world.
