Spend Skill Points on Passive Upgrades and Perks

Opening the Skills Menu

Press Y on your keyboard or click the skills tab next to your inventory screen to access the Runic Skills interface.

Understanding Passive Upgrades

Passive upgrades are permanent stat boosts you purchase with earned skill points. Common upgrades include:

• Extra health
• Faster movement speed
• Increased attack damage
• Better mining speed
• Enhanced magic resistance

These apply automatically once purchased and don't require activation.

Unlocking and Toggling Perks

Perks are special abilities you unlock by spending points. Unlike passives, perks can be toggled on or off. Examples include:

• Better trades from villagers
• Access to your ender chest from your inventory
• Reduced fall damage
• Improved crop growth rates

Hover over any perk and hold Shift to read its full description and level requirements.

Allocating Points

Each time you level up a skill path, you earn points to spend. Navigate to the upgrade or perk you want, then click to purchase it. Plan ahead—some powerful perks require high skill levels or multiple points to unlock.
