Crafting Your First Rune

Runes are the core item of this mod. Each rune combines cobblestone with a material related to its type—for example, Arcane Runes use amethyst, Fire Runes use coal, and Frost Runes use snowballs. Recipes are shapeless, so ingredient order doesn't matter.

You can craft runes by hand or at a regular crafting table. However, a Rune Crafting Altar is more efficient, yielding more runes from the same ingredients. If other mods you've installed depend on runes, they'll likely require specific rune types in their own recipes. Check those mods' documentation to see which runes you need to craft.
