How RPG Looting Works

When you defeat hostile mobs, they now leave their bodies behind as lootable corpses instead of immediately dropping items. Approach a fallen enemy's corpse to collect the items it carries.

This system creates a more immersive RPG experience by letting you see the results of your battles and manually loot defeated enemies, rather than having drops appear instantly. The longer enemies remain visible on the ground before looting reinforces the satisfaction of victory and makes combat feel more consequential.

Simply interact with corpses to gather your rewards, then continue your adventure.
