How to Defeat a Royal Zombie

Preparation

Royal Zombies are significantly stronger than standard zombies and always spawn with two regular zombie companions. Equip yourself with a sword (iron or better) and bring healing potions. Consider wearing armor with Protection enchantments.

Combat Strategy

Focus on eliminating the Royal Zombie first, as it's the primary threat. The Royal Zombie will attempt to equip nearby zombies with Knight's Helmets and iron swords, making them harder to kill. Prevent this by:

• Separating the Royal Zombie from its companions before engaging
• Attacking quickly to minimize the time it can buff allies
• Targeting the equipped zombies immediately after they receive gear

During Battle

Watch for the "Chosen Victim" effect—when applied to you, all nearby undead gain a speed bonus, making them more dangerous. Maintain distance and use ranged attacks if available. Once the Royal Zombie falls, the remaining zombies become manageable. Use knockback effects to prevent the mob group from surrounding you.

Defeating a Royal Zombie yields increased experience and exclusive drops compared to regular zombies, making the fight worthwhile for progression.
