Attach a Head for Attack Capability

The head is essential for combat. Snap a head piece onto your dinosaur's body frame — this unlocks the ability to damage enemies.

Activate Attack Mode

Press the X key while riding to attack nearby targets. Your mount will strike enemies in front of it. The head determines attack power and range, so ensure it's properly attached and powered.

Add Arms for Item Collection

While not strictly for combat, arms let you press C to pick up dropped loot and experience orbs after defeating enemies. This creates an efficient farming loop.

Maintain Power

Keep your engine fueled with coal or redstone. A powered-down dinosaur cannot attack effectively. Check your fuel regularly during extended combat sessions to avoid losing momentum in battle.
