Install a Tail

The tail is mandatory for jumping. Attach it to your dinosaur's body frame — without it, your mount cannot leap regardless of other upgrades.

Execute Jumps

Press the Space bar while riding to make your dinosaur jump. The tail enables this action, allowing you to clear gaps, climb hills, and bypass obstacles.

Combine with Leg Choice

Your leg type affects jump height and how high your mount can step over blocks. Legs with better step-over capability let you traverse rough terrain more smoothly, reducing the need for constant jumping.

Use Sprint Jumping for Distance

Hold Left Control while jumping to cover greater horizontal distance. This technique is useful for crossing wide chasms or escaping danger quickly. Practice the timing to master long-distance jumps across your world.
