How to Craft Arrows of Decay from Lingering Potions
Brew a Lingering Potion of Decay First
Arrows of Decay are crafted the same way as other tipped arrows, so you need a Lingering Potion of Decay as your source. Brew an Awkward Potion, add a Wither Rose to make a Potion of Decay, then add Dragon's Breath to convert it into a lingering potion. You can optionally extend or amplify it before adding Dragon's Breath, but remember the effect carried by the arrows matches whatever lingering potion you used.
Craft the Arrows
Place the Lingering Potion of Decay in the center of a Crafting Table grid and surround it with regular Arrows in the remaining slots. This produces a batch of Arrows of Decay. The exact yield follows the vanilla tipped-arrow recipe pattern, so you get multiple arrows per potion. Stock up on arrows and potion ingredients before starting so you can mass-produce them in one session.
Use Them in Combat
Arrows of Decay apply the Wither effect to whatever they hit, making them strong against mobs that rely on regeneration or that you want to whittle down over time. They work with any bow, including the bows that Rewithered gives to wither skeletons, so be careful not to get hit by your own arrows' effect if a skeleton fires back. Combine them with a Power-enchanted bow for maximum damage.
