Setting Up Requirements

After installing Restricted Portals Mod, a config file generates automatically. Use it to define which items players must obtain or which tasks they must complete before accessing the Nether or End.

You can restrict one or both dimensions independently. When a player attempts to enter a restricted portal without meeting the requirements, they're blocked and see a customizable chat message explaining what they need to do.

The mod tracks progress using advancements, so requirements are verified automatically. Adjust all settings in the config file to match your server's progression rules—whether you want players to craft specific items first or complete certain objectives before advancing to dangerous dimensions.
