Finding Nether Ores Efficiently

Where to Look

Nether ore variants spawn throughout the Nether dimension in netherite blocks, similar to how overworld ores generate in stone and deepslate. They are distributed across all Nether biomes, but your best chances come from exploring at various heights.

Mining Strategy

1. Prepare properly – Bring a pickaxe strong enough to mine netherite blocks. A diamond or netherite pickaxe is recommended; stone or weaker tools won't work.

2. Search systematically – Strip mine or cave explore through the Nether, keeping an eye out for the distinctive netherite ore textures embedded in netherite blocks.

3. Mine carefully – Use your pickaxe on the ore blocks. They will drop as items that you can collect.

4. Gather multiple types – You'll find coal, iron, diamond, emerald, lapis, and redstone variants all mixed throughout the Nether, so collect whatever you encounter.

• Bring adequate food and armor since the Nether is dangerous.
