What Doesn't Work With Backpacks

Resource Backpack's Mod is intentionally incompatible with Accessories, Trinkets, and Curios API Continuation. This means you cannot equip backpacks as accessories or curios—they function only as portable storage items that must be placed and opened.

Why These Restrictions Exist

These compatibility limitations are deliberate balance choices. They prevent backpacks from becoming overpowered by keeping them separate from other mod systems. You must actively manage backpack placement rather than passively wearing them.

What Does Work

Backpacks are fully compatible with Shulker Box Tooltip, allowing you to preview contents at a glance. They function like standard storage blocks and can be placed, broken, and transported normally.

Planning Your Setup

Design your storage system around backpacks as portable containers rather than worn equipment. Keep them in your base or carry them when needed, then place them to access contents. This encourages intentional inventory management and adds a layer of strategy to resource organization.
