Combining ReShaded With Other Texture Packs Without Conflicts

ReShaded is designed to sit alongside other packs, but stacking order decides who wins when two packs touch the same texture.

Understanding the Stack

Packs higher in the Selected list override packs lower down. ReShaded removes harsh face shading, so if another pack also edits block textures, only one version of each texture is shown. Decide per pack whether you want that pack's art or ReShaded's flatter lighting.

Practical Ordering

If you love another pack's blocks but want softer shadows, place ReShaded *above* it only for the textures ReShaded covers, and accept that those specific blocks will use ReShaded's look. If you want the other pack fully intact, place ReShaded *below* it — you keep the other pack's shading and ReShaded only fills in textures the other pack leaves untouched.

Testing

After reordering, reload with F3+T (or reopen the world) so textures refresh. Walk through a few biomes and check walls, cliffs, and interiors. If a block looks wrong or half-shaded, a conflict exists — move ReShaded up or down one slot and reload again. Keep a note of the order that looks best so you can restore it later.
