Combining Reimagined GUI Dark With Other Resource Packs Safely

Reimagined GUI only touches interface textures, so it layers cleanly with most packs — as long as you control the order. The rule is simple: the pack higher in the list wins for any texture both packs change.

Ordering Packs Correctly

1. Open Options → Resource Packs.

2. In the Selected list, place Reimagined GUI (Dark) above general texture packs that don't focus on GUI.

3. Place it below any pack you specifically want to control the GUI, such as a themed UI overhaul.

4. Click Done and inspect a few menus to confirm the result.

Common Pairings

  • World/texture packs: safe. They change blocks and items, not menus, so order rarely matters.
  • Font packs: safe. Fonts and GUI panels are separate textures.
  • Other GUI packs: conflict. Only one can win; pick your favorite and put it on top.
  • HUD/minimap mods: usually independent, but check for color clashes.

Testing Without Committing

Toggle packs on and off and press F3 + T to reload instantly. This lets you compare combinations in seconds instead of restarting. Once you find an order you like, leave it — the selection is saved per profile, so it persists across launches.
