Understanding Transmitter Range

Wireless Transmitters broadcast your Refined Storage network wirelessly. Each transmitter has a maximum range—place multiple transmitters to cover larger areas or different dimensions.

Installation Steps

1. Craft Wireless Transmitters using your mod's recipe.

2. Place transmitters near the areas where you want wireless access (e.g., your main base, mining area, or farm).

3. Connect each transmitter to your storage network using cables or by placing it adjacent to a network block.

4. Power the transmitters. They consume energy from your Refined Storage network, so ensure your system has adequate power generation.

5. Test coverage by moving away from the transmitter with your Wireless Crafting Grid and attempting to open it.

Optimization Tips

• Place transmitters at strategic points to minimize dead zones.
• In large bases, use multiple transmitters for redundancy and full coverage.
• Transmitters work across dimensions if your network supports it—check your mod configuration.
• Monitor network energy consumption; many active transmitters will drain power faster.
