Clean Dyed Tiles with Wet Sponges
Removing Color from Your Tiles
If you want to change the color of a mosaic tile or remove its dye entirely, use a wet sponge. Wet sponges remove dye from all adjacent tiles they touch.
Placement Method
Place a wet sponge directly next to the dyed mosaic blocks you want to clean. The sponge will immediately remove the dye from all tiles in contact with it. You can place the sponge on any side—top, bottom, or any horizontal direction.
Using Pistons for Automation
For larger cleanup jobs, use a piston to push a wet sponge across multiple dyed tiles. As the sponge moves, it clears the color from each tile it touches. This is faster than placing and removing the sponge manually for each block.
Reusing Cleaned Tiles
Once a tile is cleaned, you can immediately apply new dye colors to it. This makes it easy to experiment with different color schemes without needing to craft new blocks.
