While the pack excels at vertical structures, horizontal brick surfaces also benefit from the refined textures. When you place brick blocks as floors or pathways, the top texture becomes the visible surface, giving your walkways a cleaner, more detailed appearance than vanilla flat brick textures.

Steps:

1. Select your brick type and place blocks in a horizontal layer

2. Walk across the surface to see the top texture detail

3. Use brick walls alongside pathways—they connect cleanly with the updated side and top designs

4. Mix brick types in checkerboard or stripe patterns for visual variety

Combining Walls with Brick Floors

Brick walls are included in the pack's 39 texture updates and align perfectly with the column-model bricks. Build a pathway of brick blocks, then add matching brick walls on either side. The walls will display the same refined masonry style, creating a cohesive, polished look. This technique works well for garden borders, building foundations, and decorative walkways.
