Finding and Locating Structures in Your World

Using the Locate Command

Once you've generated a world with Recurrent Complex Volts structures, you can search for them using the locate command. This is useful for planning expeditions or testing where your custom builds will spawn.

Steps:

1. Open chat and type /#structures locate <structure-id>

2. Replace <structure-id> with the name of the structure you want to find (for example, ancient_ruins or stone_fortress)

3. The game will calculate and display coordinates of predicted natural spawns

4. Use these coordinates to navigate to the structure using /tp or by foot

Finding Structure IDs

If you're unsure of a structure's exact ID, open the structure manager with /rc gui to browse available structures. The ID is displayed in the list. You can also preview how each structure looks before searching for it in your world.

This command is especially helpful after adjusting biome rules or generation settings—use it to verify structures are spawning in the locations you intended.
