How to Find and Use an Offering Altar

Locating an Altar

Offering Altars generate naturally throughout your world in various biomes. They appear as stone structures, so explore forests, plains, and other populated areas. You can also use the mod's map or search features if available in your version.

Interacting with the Altar

Once you find an Offering Altar, approach it and interact (right-click). The altar menu will open, displaying available options:

• Summon Lesser Spirits: Spend resources to call friendly spirits to aid you in combat or exploration
• Claim Divine Protections: Unlock passive buffs that enhance your magic casting and weapon damage

What You Need

Bring appropriate offerings or currency—the altar will indicate what it requires. Divine Protections are particularly valuable early on, as they stack bonuses the more you collect. Note that if you later choose to pursue an Authority, you'll lose the ability to carry Divine Protections, so plan your progression carefully.

Visit multiple altars across different regions to maximize your options and unlock various spirit types and protection tiers.
