How to Chisel a Block Into Different Patterns in Re Chiseled

Getting Started With the Chisel

Re Chiseled centers on converting a plain block into one of its many decorative variants. To do this you need the mod's chisel tool and a block to work on. Place the block in the world or hold it, then use the chisel on it. A selection interface opens showing every available pattern for that block family — for example, an Acacia Plank can become Beams, Bricks, Flooring, Mosaic, Squares, Tiles, or a Crate variant.

Choosing and Applying a Pattern

Click a pattern in the interface to preview it, then confirm to convert the block. The original block is consumed and replaced with the chosen variant. If you change your mind, you can chisel the variant again to cycle back to another pattern or return to the base block, so experimentation is cheap.

Practical Tips

  • Keep a stack of the base block handy so you can test several patterns in a row.
  • Patterns are grouped by material family, so Acacia patterns only apply to Acacia blocks and Andesite patterns only to Andesite.
  • Once you find a look you like, craft the matching slab or stair variant directly rather than chiseling each block individually.
