Where Cases Naturally Spawn

Loot cases appear in dungeon chests, mineshaft structures, and strongholds as you explore. They're mixed in with regular loot, so check these structures thoroughly. You may also find cases by brushing suspicious sand blocks in desert pyramids using a brush tool—this triggers archaeology and can uncover hidden cases.

Opening a Case

When you find a loot case, simply right-click it to open it. The case menu will display all possible items it can drop, color-coded by rarity. Click to open and receive a random item based on the case's drop rates.

Trading for Cases

If you'd rather not search, find a Case Trader villager in villages. They sell reward crates in exchange for emeralds. The price is configurable by server admins, so costs may vary.

Understanding Rarity

Items are sorted by rarity level—common items drop frequently, while legendary items are rare. If your admin enabled rarity tooltips, hover over items in your inventory to see their rarity classification.
