Set up a Rain Shield to stop rain in your base

Crafting the Rain Shield

Gather the required materials: you'll need a blaze rod (or any rod tagged as a forge blaze rod) and other components as shown in the mod's crafting recipe. Craft the Rain Shield block at a crafting table.

Placement and activation

Place the Rain Shield block anywhere in your base or area where you want to prevent rain from displaying. The block will immediately begin blocking rain rendering in a radius around it—by default, this extends 80 blocks in all directions from the block's position.

The Rain Shield works passively once placed; no power or activation is required to start blocking rain. Rain will not render visually within the protected radius, though the weather system itself continues normally (mobs still spawn, crops still grow, etc.).

Adjusting the radius

If you need to cover a larger or smaller area, check your mod configuration file. The radius is configurable, so you can adjust it to match your base's size. You may need to reload your world or server after changing the config value for it to take effect.
