Disable a Rain Shield temporarily with redstone

Applying a redstone signal

To turn off a Rain Shield without breaking it, apply a redstone signal to the block. This can be done by:

• Placing a redstone wire next to it
• Connecting a lever, button, or repeater to it
• Using a redstone torch adjacent to the block
• Powering it from a distance using redstone dust or other power sources

Effect of disabling

When a redstone signal is applied, the Rain Shield stops blocking rain. Rain will render normally in the area again, even within the block's usual radius. This is useful if you want to toggle weather effects on and off without removing the block.

Re-enabling

Simply remove the redstone signal by turning off the power source. The Rain Shield will resume blocking rain immediately.
